New Remote Module: mobile, off-grid image acquisition for temporary campaigns

Artificial Vision announces the creation of the Remote Module, an autonomous image acquisition system built for temporary campaigns and mobile operations, with no need for permanent installation, continuous 220 V power, or permanent internet connectivity.

Unlike traditional real-time processing systems, the Remote Module is optimized to capture data in the field and store it locally for later analysis and reporting on a remote workstation.

The system integrates eight 4K cameras arranged in four stereoscopic pairs, capturing synchronized imagery. Data is recorded on two onboard computers with a total of 4 TB of storage, enabling several days of acquisition without any network connection. Power during acquisition is provided by a dedicated 48 V battery, and the module includes local Wi-Fi plus a web monitoring interface to supervise cameras, GPS, temperature/ventilation, disk usage, and capture activity in real time.

The Remote Module streamlines the full workflow: field capture → data sync → post-processing → web reporting.
